The Why? 

In recent years, I have struggled with stress and anxiety; I reached my lowest point and went through burnout. I came to understand that I lacked the resources to handle my anxiety and reduce my stress. The building of Self-care Habits guided me on a transformative journey as I continually discover habits I can incorporate into my daily routine to nurture my mental health.

Our Purpose

Selfcare Habits was created with the purpose of empowering individuals to prioritize their mental health by using ayurvedic and other ancient holistic ingredients such as essential oils to foster moments of tranquility, rejuvenation, and restoration in their bath time routine. Selfcare Habits was born from a deep desire to recreate the soothing and rejuvenating experience of my mother's homemade skin treatments and bath salts. 

Priorities

However, I have always struggled with sensitive skin that is prone to eczema. While I admire the lovely fragrances of soaps and bath salts that my friends and family enjoy, I often hesitate to try them myself, fearing the inevitable redness, inflammation, and flakiness that would follow. I longed for a way to pamper myself with products that offered more than just pleasant scents; I wanted something with real benefits rather than just fragrance oils that lacked any medicinal properties. My search for aromatherapy-infused products often left me disappointed, as they were either too expensive or made with low-quality ingredients that triggered flare-ups. Eventually, I made the decision to create my own line of products focused on mental well-being. This is how Selfcare Habits came to life—a brand driven by mental health.
